Welcome To A Galaxy, Far, Far, Away....Joining Star-Cross Galaxies...
(1.) When registering, please register your account with a proper username. The staff have a right to ban a username if we feel you may be someone who wants to spam our site. If you have any questions please we feel free to leave a message on the shout-out box, PM a Staff Member.
(2.) Each character application should have its OWN thread, with the First and/or Last name of the character, properly capitalized (First and/or Last Name). If you wish to create a second character you do not have to have to make a sub-account.
(3.) Your account will never get deleted or any of your characters, but during the first week of each month, we WILL run a board-wide activity check. We will send out a PM to inform you about it in case you forget to check the Activity Check Board. If you miss the check and did not inform an admin, your characters will be placed under Inactive. This is your responsibility to post a notice if you are going to be away so please do the wise thing and post an away message.
(4.) Inactive Registrations will be removed from the board after one month. Meaning, if you joined but didn't actively participate in anything, the account will be made inactive, and will not be usable.
Joining Star-Cross Galaxies
(1.) When making an account please wait until your character has been approved before you go about changing your name and editing your profile and all that good stuff. You have ONE WEEK upon registering to get an application up. We ask that you also share your Discord Account Name On your profile. MEMBERS AND STAFF ARE REQUIRED TO MAKE A DISCORD ACCOUNT!!

This is important for members and staff active in RPS, etc. You can also download discord onto your phone, lap-top/desktop/etc. NOTICE: If anyone joins the site just for kicks and DO NOT post an application up or anything of the sort. If a staff member makes an effort to contact you whether it be via PM, e-mail, or discord and you don't reply in a week's time. The head admin has a right to delete you. This rule also goes for Discord as well.
(2.) Sub-accounts are OPTIONAL! *This rule can always be amended.*[/b]
(3.) Please make sure you can be active. We understand things come up and real life comes first, but if you are going to be a part of this site we ask that you log on a couple times a week. If you must be gone for longer than a few days please post and away thread in Docking Bay 94 Area under the board Leave of Absences letting the staff and members know. This is to ensure that you do not get deleted when the staff conducts an activity check. If you are gone for two weeks without an away thread or informing the staff you WILL[/u] be deleted. Besides it’s no fun joining and ditching.
(4.) Please be respectable of the staff and members. We are here to help in any way we can. If you have an issue with a member please discuss it with them in a PM and if the problem isn’t resolved then you may come to a staff member and we will try and help you.
(5.) Canon Characters AND Original Characters are more than welcome from any era of the Star Wars universe since the site is an alternative universe RPG forum, but please no long-lost siblings. *This rule can be amended any point at the discretion of a staff member at any given time.*[/b]
(6.) No God-moding another character! We are all able to play our characters. God-moding will NOT[/u] be allowed. If done…you will be warned, but if it continues you will be deleted.
(7.) Replies to post are to be done in a timely manner. You have a week to get a reply up meaning 7 DAYS (Because that equals ONE week).
(8.) If you are going to be away for more than a week please inform a staff member and also be kind enough to post an away thread in the LOA Board letting your fellow members/staff know so you don’t end up getting deleted.
(9.) If you are unable to give time to you role-play you are welcome to leave without any hard feelings. We just ask you to send a PM to a staff member informing them you are leaving. You are more than welcome to come back at any time and re-app for a new character if that role has been taken.
(10.) When applying please keep your RP Sample in the character you are applying for perspective. It is fine if it is AU so long as it shows your writing ability as well as an understanding of how the character talks as well as how they might react in a specific situation.
(11.) There is no word count. But please no one-liners. They will automatically be delated. Please make sure you use spell check as well.
(12.) We do not have a limit on characters that members can play as long as they are responsible with them. (This rule can be amended any point at the discretion of a staff member at any given time.*)
(13.) Advertising is done in the Advertise and Affiliate Board only! We have no problems with guests from other sites sharing their ads here or members/staff who are from or own other sites advertising here, but it needs to be in the section for advertising only and in the correct board!
(14.) After you post up an application and it has been approved we ask that you please make a plot page.
Creating A Character
(1.) Please check the face-claim before creating a character. First come, first serve. Reservations are allowed but last only a week. Face-claims can be of just about anyone (celebrities, actors, singers, etc.). Remember Canon Characters and Original Characters CANNOT share the same face-claim. Unless they are a twin. *This rule applies if your character is human and is being portrayed by an actual face-claim.*[/b] If you wish to use anime, manga, etc.
Q: Is It Necessary For Every Character To Have a Face?
A: Not exactly there are some exceptions since some rpers do not like to use celebs or may be a different species.
(2.) Though it is not a rule that every member should play a canon, we do encourage our members to take at least one canon from the canon list. Each member is welcome to play 1 canon at a time. Original characters are more than welcome from any era.
(3.) Use the appropriate character templates that have been provided for you. Fill it out to the fullest extent. Please DO NOT[/u] change the layout, or coding of the character templates, though you are welcome to add onto the character template if you would like.
(4.) All characters must be older than 16. We don't want too young of characters running around the site. Characters that are younger than the age of 16 must first have the approval of an Administrator.
(5.) There's no character limit. Just don't get too carried away with a boat load of characters then you can handle. Remember you are responsible for however many characters you plan on controlling.
Q: What’s With the Role Play Sample and Do I Really Have To Provide One?
A:Yes, you MUST provide a Role Play sample for your first Original OR Canon Character AND you must provide a Role Play Sample if you also apply for a Canon Character. If you make more characters you do not have to provide a Role Play Sample.
Q: When I Create My First Account Must I Create Multiple Accounts For My Characters?
A: No, you are NOT require you to make multiple accounts for your characters. We just encourage you to put your character's name under your signature. If you wish to use color-code feel free to do so. If you have any questions or concerns please speak to admin via PM or Discord.
