Kira for the most part, is about 5'11", with shoulder length light copper-ish brown hair. She has greenish-grey eyes and a medium sized scar on the back of her neck.She also has a tattoo of a Phoenix on her lower back.
Personality:
Kira's a smartass. She's also somewhat snarky, and her quick wit and sarcasm tends to get her into trouble more often than not. Even more so in regards to her significant other, Jango Fett, who she likes to tease on many occasions.
History:
Kira was born and raised on Deralia alongside her sister, Kai Solaris. Her childhood was normal for the most part, however, her mother had already began to train Kira in several forms of martial arts, such as Kendo, Jujutsu and Capoeira. This training carried on over the majority of her childhood, up until Kira turned eighteen, where she had decided to join the military.
Military:
It was here that Kira began the fight of her life. Becoming a Colonel in the military faction UNSC, she commanded several units of marines and spec-ops specialists. Many of the battles that Kira fought in were brutal, however, one mission stuck out the most; the infiltration of High Charity, a ruined Covenant city that had been over run by the Flood. During this mission, Kira had led thirty fully armed and fully trained marines into the city. At the end, she was the only survivor, her squad being completely over run and slaughtered by the Flood. Kira herself had almost succumbed to the same fate of some the marines in her squad, that of which was two near infections, one of which was foiled by a fellow marine shooting the infection form off the back of Kira's neck, and the other near infection was foiled by Kira herself, as per reaching up, and ripping the infection form right off her neck with her bare hand.
However, it was the second encounter that truly scarred Kira and caused her mass hatred and loathing of the Flood. While still on High Charity, Kira was on her way back to the Landing Zone to be picked up when several greenish yellow tentacles rose up from beneath the platform she was on, and took hold of her, dragging her down beneath the ruined city. It was there that she encountered the mind behind the Flood; Gravemind. What Gravemind had talked to Kira about is unknown, as Kira flat out refuses to talk about it at all. It is also rumored that both she and Gravemind share some kind of telepathic link, due to the two near infections that she had suffered. Not much else is known about Kira's encounter with the Flood, though alot of people believe that it was the sole reason that Kira changed her career and left the military.
Career Shift:
A couple years passed, and Kira's career changed drastically, from being a Colonel in the military, to becoming one of the top ranked Assassins. And it was during these couple years as an assassin that would change Kira's life for the most part. The main element being, her fateful encounter with the infamous Mandalorian Bounty Hunter, Jango Fett. She and Fett worked together on several different missions over the course of two years, briefly parting after 10 months of their partnership, however, about a month later Fett contacted Kira with another job offer, and the two have been working together steadily ever since.
Romantic Entanglements:
*Carter-A259:
During her military career, Kira had been in two previous relationships, the most successful one was with the Commander of Noble Team, Carter-A259. The two spent eight months together, on and off, due to both of them being sent on separate away missions from time to time. Over those eight months, Kira's feelings for Carter became genuine, and the two began to explore their relationship a little more.
However; their time together and their relationship was cut short when Carter sacrificed himself by flying his damaged pelican into the side of a Covenant Scarab so that Kira, Emile-A239 and Noble Six could continue their mission. Carter died on August 30th, 2552, or in the year 36 BBY.
Even though Kira has now moved on, Carter still has a place in her heart.
*Jango Fett:
It wasn't until 35 BBY that she finally met up with Jango Fett, a Mandalorian bounty hunter who would eventually steal Kira's heart. As a top ranked assassin, the two worked closely together, despite the fact that the trust between them was rather shaky at the beginning of their partnership. Though as the years went by, Kira managed to gain Fett's trust by helping him bring in several difficult bounties.
During one particular mission in the year 33 BBY, Kira finally began to realize her growing attraction and feelings towards the Mando bounty hunter, after both of them had been captured, with Fett being sentenced to execution, and herself being sentenced to slavery. Not wanting to have played a hand in Jango's death, Kira managed to free herself from the metal bindings that chained her to a wall by biting her left wrist enough to draw blood, then finally dislocating it to allow her hand to easily slide free. Shortly after picking the lock on the binding holding her right hand, Kira quickly and quietly made her way down to Fett's holding cell. Ensuring that there was a break in the guard rotation, Kira lowered the electrical field containing Fett, and picked the locks on his binding's, thus freeing him. Shortly after their escape, Fett had asked her why she had risked her own safety to free him, after freeing herself. Smiling briefly at the hunter, Kira simply replied. " I'm a born and bred soldier, Fett. I don't leave friends or partners behind."
Finally, in 32 BBY, both Kira and Jango admitted their feeling's for one another, and are now currently in a romantic relationship. however, it is again speculated that there's more to their relationship than just simple attraction. Many people believe that both the former marine turned assassin and Mandalorian bounty hunter are truly, deeply in love with one another.
